Pandemic Update
Under the confinement of the pandemic, Urasenke tea followers created a Facebook page to introduce and report each association's activities in relay style. The idea was originated by the leaders of Canadian and U.S.A. tea practitioners, with the warm encouragement of Urasenke's 15th grandmaster, Hounsai, and the 16th grandmaster, Zabousai. What started as the North American Chado Relay in September, 2020, developed into the World Chado Relay.
Our Association was assigned to report at the end of September. It is an enormous collection of chado reports from outside Japan. Please type Birmingham in the Facebook's search box after opening the page below. You can peek into our activities before and during the pandemic.
